CLEARSTEP is composite technology, fiberglass, and polypropylene, designed to lighten stones without compromising solidity and aesthetics

Natural stones like marble, granite, or mosaics can be directly glued to the rough surface of the fibreglass panel. The resin used to impregnate the fibreglass has additives so that it maintains its transparent color.

Technical features

CLEARSTEP is a lightweight sandwich panel with a polypropylene honeycomb core and skins of fibreglass impregnated with epoxy resin. It is particularly useful in the field of backlighting due to its clarity, which allows it to maintain the colours of stones, such as onyx, that can be glued onto it. The application of this panels for example permits huge savings as far as weight and thickness of the slabs of natural stones, such as marbles and granite and mosaics are concerned. In this way, also the costs of these materials can be reduced.
